Good one, lady

Today, while walking to work, I accidentally dropped my $400 cell phone on the sidewalk. The screen shattered into a million pieces. A woman passing by looked at the ruined phone and said, "Now that's what you call a dropped call!" She laughed and kept walking. FML

I would have probably said the same thing, laughed at you and my own joke.

AHAHAHAHA!! I would laugh too! You know why? Because she said something FUNNY! AND having SUCH an expensive phone, I would have a solid warranty on it and get a new one! So YDI for spending that kind of money on a phone without a warranty.

Please explain how you figured from this FML that this person doesn't have a warranty on their phone. Even if they did have warranty and even though the joke the woman made was funny, breaking a phone still sucks because most of the time you have to wait to get a new phone shipped to you after you file a claim. Hell, unless the phone breaking was a manufacturing defect, something like this wouldn't be covered under warranty so this person might be out of a phone until they can buy a new one. Also, you lose all the texts, photos, videos and such that were on the old phone.

i have to say it's fake, because no phone would "shatter", even though we all know the million pieces is an undersood exaggeration.. but at most it would crack, or if it's a flip, break in half. [/from someone who dropped a flip phone from a 2nd-story landing onto tile, and it was still intact ;D] but if it is true, that lady is amazing, just sayin'

YDI for having a $400 cell phone that isn't even durable. My phone was $100 when I got it (EnV, got it about 7 months ago), and I've dropped it countless times, and even had it fall, bounce, and slide on rock, concrete, and tiles. It's only got a few scratches on it.

Who goes out and buys a 400 dollar cell phone? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA mine is 60 and it's better than your dropped call

have a sense of humor. and don't post this to fmylife
