Doozy

Today, I had an ingrown toenail cut out, and the pain medication I received doesn't actually help with the pain. Instead, it makes me high, which results in me losing my balance and slamming my injured toe into objects, and then getting sick from that new pain. FML

Sounds like the kind of situation that would keep you on your toes.

What medication are you taking? it sounds like it is not having the desired effect. Call your doc.

Some pain meds get you high, just saying

I'm having an ingrown toenail taken out next week (one on each foot in fact). This was not the FML i needed to see right now. D: I'm sure it can't be that bad, right?

That actually sounds awful =3 you might want to go back to the doctor about that!

Can I have your meds when your done

That's how norcos help with pain, by making you "high" in an attempt to take your mind away from pain.

who gets pain meds for a ingrown toenail removal

You do realize you could soak it a few times a day in warm water and plain Epsom salt and it would help it completely...
