Are you a living anime?
Don't worry OP, I'm sure she realizes that it was just an accident. The same thing happened to me once when I was in France . . . except I was 12 and he was 50. (I was the one that went the wrong way.) Talk about awkward . . . we pretended like it didn't happen and never spoke of it again.
A different culture unseen by many in the far away land of ............ Ohio USA?
This is how I accidentally kissed my professor's husband. I ran into an ex-professor in public and went over to say hello. She introduced me to her husband, who is from Nicaragua. He leaned in, with the intention of kissing my cheeks, but I had no clue what he was doing, so I did some awkward hug thing and turned my head, and his lips landed right at the corner of my mouth. I said, "Okay, great to see you, bye!" and ran away. Then I had to ask my ex-professor for a letter or rec two years later, because she was my PBK nominating professor. Incredibly awkward. :/

where did you run to if you were at your house? why would you run if you were at your own house? so many questions, such small fml character limits.
I considered that, #16, but went ahead and made the joke anyway. It'd be a shame to let reality get in the way of a good—well, almost adequate—joke.
