Today, I turned 22. Instead of cutting my own cake, I stood by and smiled at a friend's belated birthday party. Her birthday was actually two months ago, but she decided to have her party on my birthday. No one remembered mine but everyone got her beautiful gifts. FML

Today, I celebrated my birthday with my friend who has the same birthday by going out to dinner with a bunch of our friends. The waiter brought out a cake for my friend but not for me. No one noticed my exclusion. I sang happy birthday on my birthday. FML

Today, I celebrated my 22nd birthday. On my cake stood last year's "21" candle, to which had been added a single candle. Clearly, times are tough. FML

Today, I had my 21st birthday party. My friends told me to have the party even though it had been 5 months since my actual 21st birthday. They asked me why I didn't have one originally and I jokingly told them it was because I didn't think anyone would come. Turned out nobody came after all. FML

Today, I realized that I’ve gone out of my way every year to make everyone around me’s birthday extra special. I can’t remember the last time anyone celebrated or remembered mine. This year my “best friend” scheduled her elective surgery I’m supposed to take her to on my birthday. What a party. FML

Today, I showed up to my friend’s birthday party with a huge cake... on what turned out to be the wrong day. The actual party is tomorrow. Her family laughed and thought if was cute, but I just wanted the floor to open up and let me disappear. FML

Are you serious.... & your calling her a friend because???? SHe is a hater she is NOT your friend. she had hers 2 months ago but out of no were decides to celabrate it on your birthday why? easy & simple she is a fake friend & wanted to get you mad. simply because she is a hater who is NOT worth having in your life... that happend to me once but i also got grounded so i couldn't even go to my friends bday party. her birthday was in Feb......it was June...wtf....never forgave for that one.

2 months??? Really??? It should've been something like a week after her actual bday!!! I agree with #172 I wouldn't have gone, I'd have already cut her out of my life if it was on purpose...
