WOW, I had to read a little comments to even think of a reward. I was appauled of the fact the guy didnt say, "thank you!"
You are a dick. Returning a wallet just because you think you'll get a reward? You should have returned it not expecting a reward at all, and knowing you've done a good deed.
I don't know if it's a myth or if it's true, but I heard if you drop a wallet in a mailbox, the mail services will return it to its owner.. So you should have just taken the cash and tossed it in a mailbox, save yourself a long drive, and get yourself a nice reward at the same time.
ur such an ass, u shudnt expect a reward, ur doing the right thing, besides, no one gives rewards for wallets
what a bitch! I would have been thrilled! that's alright about 5 minutes prior he proly called the suicide prevention hotline and no one answered! :)
fail fag
see what you do is steal all the money out and then hand the wallet over saying I found this wallet but everything was already gone by the time I found it sorry! And sometimes they still give you an award for returning the wallet, so double money! (=
don't try to impress your therapist. it defeats the purpose.
Awww, way to ruin your mood.

Drug money. But you don't do something for the reward, you do it because you feel it's right. YDI.
Holy crap entitled much? Instead of doing something for a reward, why don't you do it because it's the right thing to do? And how is he supposed to know that you drove for 40 minutes? What I would've done is turn it in to the police, or if I found it in the store, turned it in to the store manager, rather than driving for 40 minutes and then expecting a reward for not stealing it. It's ridiculous how people expect to be rewarded for not doing the wrong thing. Plus, how do you know you returned it to the right person? It had an address written inside? That could've been the address of a friend's house, or a house someone needed to make a delivery to. Maybe you just gave the wallet to a stranger who decided to pretend it was his to keep the money.
