Today, my 16 year-old daughter tried to convince me that tampons don't actually work, all because she can still pee with one in. FML

How is this not OP's fault? A parent should have taught their daughter how her body works well before the girl is 16 and having periods.

haha when I was ten I laughed because the girls in my family get periods and have to use pads.. so I'm like,, I'm gonna test one of these out and see what the big deal is.. peed in one and it did not absorb and it soaked my undies and jeans ahaahaha
