Today, despite my warnings, my mother continues to go see my ex's son and encourage her to get more child support from me. They both say that because I signed the birth certificate, that makes that baby mine. I don't think he is, and I'm currently with someone else, with my first real son on the way. FML

Demand a paternity test and when (if) it comes back negative, jump through all the hoops required to cut the woman off completely. I'd probably go NC with your mother as well.

get a paternity test instead of complaining on fml you knob. if it’s not yours then cut ties if you want, however if you raised him as your own, and your mother was a grandmother to him, she can and should still see him if she desires.

Get a DNA test. If the child is not yours, then she can claim nothing. If however, you are thae father then you have some serious work to do.

Sounds like rage bait. If you signed the birth cert, you had good reason to believe he was yours at the time. If you really thought otherwise you would have gotten testing already. Grow up.

You shouldn't have signed the birth certificate before taking a paternity test if you weren't sure the child was yours. And you definitely shouldn't be paying child support for a kid that isn't yours. You should have demanded a paternity test a long time ago.
