Today, my girlfriend's mom pulled me aside and started telling me about how her daughter was extremely depressed and suicidal before she met me, and how happy her family is because of me. I was planning on breaking up with her within the next week. FML

Today, I found out that my girlfriend of one week is suicidal and crazy about me. She showed me that she'd carved her old boyfriend's name in her arm, and she threatened suicide if I ever left her. FML

Today, I told to my girlfriend of 5 years that I'm depressed about having no friends, no job and a difficult family life. I told her that she's the one constant that keeps me going. She decided this was a good time to break up with me to "find" herself, since I was being so mopey. FML

Today, my mom had my girlfriend and me over. Out of the blue, she pulled out my grandmother's wedding ring and gave it to me saying I can now propose. My girlfriend started screaming and said yes. I have been seeing someone else for 3 months and was going to break up with my girlfriend tomorrow. FML

Wow...That's a mind **** for sure. The fact that you thought about it tells me you are a good person. You have to do what's best for you though. You can keep her as a friend and support her.

I have been there, and let me tell you, GET OUT NOW. It only gets worse from here. Leave, and leave very quickly. Be prepared to have to deal with her stalking you, as well.

I completely understand... same thing happend to me. its a sticky situation but the sooner you get out, the easier. The longer u stay, the more likely your gonna be stalked......

Someone crazy enough to kill themselves over a guy might be crazy enough to slash your tires and murder your dog if you break up with them. Especially if you're the only thing that made them happy. Lol have fun :3
