Sounds like she has grapheme-color synesthesia. I didn't know people didn't see colors for words until I was in college, and now all my friends know I'm a synesthete and ask me what color their names are. (btw, Tabitha is blue/purple to me, and the letters fml are green, red, and yellow). Don't be a dick and call her crazy, do some research instead and ask her questions. Synesthesia is this thing where people mix two or three senses. The most common ones are seeing color in letters or in music. I guess she might see personalities too, idk. I have it and I see colors in letters, days of the week, and in music. She could just be freaking out at you cause she's pregnant but she's always seen these colors/personalities. :/
