What do I do?
Today, I thought maybe I should go to my doctor because my hips crack every time I take a step. But she's also my recently ex-boyfriend's mom, so I have to choose between being in constant pain or having my doctor poke at my hips while asking me why I'm no longer dating her son. FML

There's not another doctor in your town?

Doctor. Why potentially sacrifice your health as a result of your ex? Move on OP.

This sounds like an interesting way to start your relationship with your ex again

Tell her he was into some weird and kinky shit that you weren't comfortable with.

Tell her he was too rough in bed, hence the reason for your visit.

Go to a chiropractor. I had this and it turned out my pelvis was twisted, it's straightened up a bit now and now I don't click :)

I had the same thing and, you're right. They did one 30 sec adjustment to rotate my hip a quarter of a turn and I was magically better. You can also try an orthopedist OP if you think it's arthritis or something like that.

Well it wouldn't be the first time someone from that family did a little poking around your hip area. So just go, no need to be in pain.

Just go, if she asks you (which would be highly unprofessional of her) just tell her you are there as a patient and reiterate your symptoms. Really this shouldn't be an issue if she's good at her job.
