Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I'm in love with my friend, and he's in love with me. The problem? We're both married to other people. We're not acting on it and we're going to do the right thing, which is letting it go, but my heart is broken in a million pieces right now. FML
Today, I'm completely in love with my best friend, who I've known for over 10 years. I can't get him out of my head. Too bad he's married, with 2 kids. FML
Today, my half-drunk best friend, who I share lot of hobbies with, and love hanging out with, publicly confessed her love for me, and described how her heart burns every time she sees me with my wife, who's my childhood sweetheart, and love of my life. Now I am having to choose between the two. FML
Today, I confessed to my boyfriend that I was in love with his best friend. He confessed that he was too. FML
Today, my husband's friend and I realised that we have mutual feelings of attraction for each other. We're both in struggling marriages, which we don't want to give up on yet. FML
Today, I realized that I'm head over heels in love with my coworker. She's funny, caring, sweet, and the best person I've ever met. We're also both married. I dream about her every night, and the stress of not being able to tell her has overtaken my PTSD, making it impossible to sleep and barely function. Fuck Love. FML
Today, it was my best friend's wedding. The night ended with her in tears outside her hotel suite, where she confessed that she has a serious crush on me. I have a serious crush on her too. We're both straight women. I'm really confused. FML
Today, I realized I have feelings for a really good friend of mine. Now I have to keep my distance because he’s married, and I refuse to be a homewrecker. FML
Today, I'm in a long-term relationship with a woman I love to bits, but I have a crush on a coworker. I've tried to brush it off, but it's only getting stronger. The worst part? I think she likes me too. FML
Today, my husband is furious because I accused him of being in love with my best friend. He talks about her constantly, perks up like a puppy when she comes over, and occasionally only gets erections if I talk about her. Even the kids have noticed how moonstruck he is. FML

You made a commitment to your wife when you married her, and you should stick to that and control your feelings. You knew what the deal was when you signed up for it and it’s a bit late in the game to try and change that on her, especially if she’s not interested. In fact, letting yourself develop feelings like that could be considered a form of emotional infidelity. Get things together woman (or man).

It is cheating if the other person you are with is not poly and did not accept that from the start of the relationship. Genuine Poly relationships are built on honesty and trust. Oh, and pretty much ANYONE can love more than one person. It's SHARING a person that's far more difficult.

I feel your pain. Being poly when your partner isn't sucks a lot.

Is being Poly something that you just discovered about yourself? Either way talk to your wife. Communication is so important before you make any big changes. Good luck, it didn't work for me but my parents had one that worked.

My friends were poly. Until she met somebody that she fell in love with and divorced her husband so she could marry her new man and be not poly anymore.

Sounds like your wife would be better off without you in the long run.

So many people shaming polyamory. This should have been discussed before marriage but sometimes you just don't plan on falling in love with other people. My advice it to communicate your feelings to your wife and give her some time to process it. For the time being, all of you should educated yourself on ethical non monogamy. you're wife doesn't have to be poly if she doesn't want to but she can support YOU being poly. there are groups for "couples" like that that can help all of you. The fml I'm guessing is that you're stuck in between choosing who to be with. and honestly, I'd choose your wife. you've established that you are compatible and have lived together and been through more trials. So to let that go would be a little silly. If you disagree, it's your life and happiness.
