Valentine's Day confession

Today, I learned that all of the anonymous Valentine's gifts I received throughout high school were sent out of pity by my sister. FML

Well I've been out of high school for over a year now and my other sister (who knew for some reason) let it slip while we were discussing valentines day. I played it off like I already knew, but I secretly died a little inside.

I think it was lovely of your sister to send you the Valentine's but it does suck that your other sister let it slip and apparently ruined the mystique of it. I hope that since your post that you have a real Valentine. :)

At least you got anonymous valentines day gifts, I was pretty much the only person in my high-school who didn't. (Except one occasion when I received a plastic rose, with a note which read "Don't hold out hope, you're an ugly know-it-all and nobody likes you.")
