Today, I finally bought the expensive but beautifully stylish dress I've been eyeing for ages online. Ten minutes later, I went back to check the shoes the model was wearing so I could coordinate my outfit. The dress had been reduced to half price. FML

Today, I wore a beautiful new dress that I got for £5 only in a sale. I've been turning heads in it all day. When I got home, my mum pulled the massive red £5 tag off of the back. FML
Today, I received the beautiful dress I'd ordered on the internet. It's a size smaller than my usual, just to encourage me to lose weight. I managed to fit into it and wear it all day, but I've now been struggling for a couple of hours to remove it without tearing it to bits. FML
Today, I spent about half an hour trying to decide whether to buy a top, because even though it was lovely, it was really expensive. Eventually, after deciding to buy it because I could always return it if I changed my mind, I got home and realised I'd left it on the bus. FML
Today, after saving up for a beautiful new dress to wear to my partner's 30th birthday party, it finally arrived in the post. I tried the dress on and the stitching instantly ripped, leaving two big holes in it. Turns out I'm no longer a size 8. FML
Today, I posted a pic of my prom dress on facebook. The dress looked amazing on me and it just felt so right. So I spent every single dollar I had and some borrowed to buy the dress. When I logged on later that night, the first comment asked "Is this a joke?" FML
Today, after I'd ordered a cute dress online for an upcoming date, I tried it on, only to realise it was more of a glorified napkin than a dress. The tag online had said “One size fits all.” I now have a dress that fits my cat better than it fits me. FML
Today, I spent £65 on a pair of jeans after scouring Depop & eBay for hours, only for literally my dream jeans to then pop up in "More recommended" after purchasing, and for a cheaper price and faster shipping, after six hours of searching and spending the last of my paycheck on non-refundable jeans. FML
Today, I went to a thrift store and found heaps of clothes that I loved that fit me perfectly. Then I found a special distinctive dress. My dress. My dad had thrown away heaps of my clothes and I had to buy them all back. FML
Today, I bought a new, expensive dress for a date. I left the tag on and hidden in hopes of returning it later. Someone saw it and ripped it off for me to "save me from embarrassment." FML
Today, I went to buy my prom dress. I felt really good as I walked out of the dressing room, until someone walked out of the room next to me wearing the same dress, and looked better in it than I did. It was a man buying it for his drag show. FML

Email the company, a lot of stores will give you the discount if it went on sale within so little time of your purchase.

Call lots of times they'll refund you and give you the sale price if you did it that close to the sale

If it's still available online, order another & send this one back , BUT, I have already called Customer Service & explained the situation , if they cannot help you, ask to speak to a Manager , retail the story ( u can add a little white lie here & there - FOR EX. YOU HEARD YOUR B/F WAS GOING TO PROPOSE & YOU WANTED TO WRAR THIS DRESS ETC & HOW LONG YOU HAD TO SAVE FOR IT BECAUSE YOU ARE ONLY WORKING PART TIME NOW) IF she isn't receptive, tell her you have all your friends & neighbors & colleagues shop at same store & you are going to tell them NOT TO SHOP THERE ANYMORE DUE TO THE UNSATISFACTORY EXPERIENCE, **** This has usually worked for me 99.9% of the time. They would refund the difference &/or give you a coupon code for free S & H on your next order. You just have to be super nice & don't lose your temper. Good Luck!
