Today, while at the store with my mom, we ran into the girl I recently confessed to being interested in. My mom decided to shout, "IS THAT HER?! IS THAT THE GIRL YOU LIKE?!" Embarrassed, I desperately told her to be quiet. She grounded me for being "rude" to her. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I went shopping with my Mom. I ran into my crush. A school dance is soon and he WAS just about to ask something but my mom glanced over and yelled "TAMPONS OR PADS, SWEETIE?!" He then changed his question to "Haha, so which?" And before I could say a word, my mother answered for me. FML
Today, after my mom picked me up from the mall, she asked me what was in my bag from Gap. I wouldn't tell her, and she ended up grounding me. It was her Mother's Day present. FML
Holy stereotypes, mom!
Today, at a mall, my mom accused me of lying about being gay, just because I said I don't like shopping. FML
You tried
Today, while shopping, I saw a little girl and her mom. The girl was pouting so I tried to cheer her up by asking her if she was a princess, because she was so pretty. She smiled but her mom looked at me with disgust and told me to, "Get lost, pedo." I'm a 17-year-old girl. FML
Not doing well
Today, the girl that I've been madly in love with was demanding I tell her who I liked. I told her no, I should just keep it a secret, but she demanded I tell her. After I told her, the only response I got was, "You're right. You should have kept that a secret." FML
You OK hon?
Today, my normally very modest and prissy mom came home, pissed off about something. I asked her what was wrong, but she wouldn't say, and snapped at me to "fuck off." She then grounded me for "making" her use that kind of "vile language." FML
Corny jokes
Today, I was at Target with my mom and we finished purchasing our items. We had gotten a fan so I said, "This thing is too big to fit in." First thing my mom yells? "THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!" and starts laughing hysterically in front of the entire store. FML
Isn't it ironic, don't you think?
Today, my mom complained that I was being too loud, and she smacked my head really hard. All while screaming at me. FML
Today, I was in Walmart with my mom. I was looking for some CDs I wanted and saw a cute guy. Then he nodded at me and as he started to walk towards me, I hear my name being called over the intercom. Apparently, according to my mom, it was time to go. FML
Surprise!
Today, I was in a store with my mom. I wandered off, then walked around looking for her. I spotted her, and decided to put on a ski mask to give her a scare for a laugh. I hid around a corner and yelled "BOO!" when I saw her. It wasn't my mom, and I'm now banned from that store. FML

Dude, at least your mom didn't call your crush's parents and try to set up a playdate. WE WERE FOURTEEN! Even worse, the girl told the WHOLE 8th grade! I can't believe I liked that bitch.

Mamas know best. She was just trying to arrange a date for you two. One where she can accompany so she can get enjoyment out of it too. ...What? That's not normal? Oh...

That's just creepy.

"One where she can accompany so she can get enjoyment out of it too." Either it's me or this line just gives of some unhealthy, unfortunate implications.

Either it's just me or 2 was being verrryyyy sarcastic. Thumb me down for the following, BUT... You kids do not understand sarcasm when you read it on fml and it's slightly ironic.

#3 that is why when I get a girlfriend (someday . . .) I'm not going to tell my parents, to avoid them from doing stuff like this,
jimbob_76592 5
Never tell your mom about personal stuff like that, they'll ruin it all the time... It's like what #1 said lol

My mom still gives me a hard time about the crush I had in seventh. I guess parents have to have fun too. :/

When I was in high school, my brother told a guy on the basketball team that I had a crush on him. I totally did...in 5th grade. I guess it's best to keep these things to ourselves.

Parents are so subtle.

Subtlety: You're doing it wrong.

She just was trying to prime the pump. She wants grandkids before she dies and your pathetic shyness is killing her chances.
