Today, my little nieces and nephews were about to have a water balloon fight. I was told to take pictures. They hit me. And my $600 camera. FML

I'm a poor college student so spending several thousand dollars on camera is way out of my budget. Trust me. It wasn't my idea to use my SLR. And if I had had it my way I'd have told my family members to shove it and put their own camera in the line of fire.

Ouch i just bought a new camera too its awesome got to love sony cost me 300 and something but im scared taking it out the case much less bring it to a water balloon fight lmao

Next time - if you or someone else can afford a $600 camera get a waterproof one, or get an underwater camera.

That's what zoom lenses are for. YDI for taking any camera that close to a kid with a water balloon. YDI for bragging about having a $600 camera when you obviously don't know how to use it. Guess you need the $900 camera..
