Today, I went over my boyfriends for a family party he was having, when I walked in his mom lifted up my dress in front of everyone saying"is this a dress or shirt" FML.

nothing like a touchy feely "open" relative of an SO to make things perpetually awkward. expect lube and a sex toy for Christmas if you can hang in there. if you marry him I'm sure she will want to be present and both the birth and conception of her grandchildren. talk about boundary issues. I really hope he is worth the hassle.

Today, I work as a phone agent at a call center, which frequently brags about their awards as the "best workplace ever" because of their working conditions. In reality, we have to suck it up and ignore the burnouts from phone calls with Karen customers, and with the wage I get paid, I can barely make ends meet. FML

Today, my daughter asked to go to a party and I said no, because I know some of the other people going and they're bad news. She then said she only asked permission as a courtesy, and is going anyway and just left. She lives with me but she did turn 18 last week, and I don’t know what to do. FML

Today, before I washed my husband’s stinky work jacket, I made sure to check the pockets. What I didn’t realise was that there was another pocket which had two USB sticks with all of his students’ work on them. The guilt trip has been going on for hours, and I’m 39 weeks pregnant, stressed out of my mind. FML
