Today, I went home, where I live alone, from my dorm room at my university. The only Christmas cards I had received were addressed to the person that lived there before me. FML
Collection
Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I live in dorms and found out everyone is leaving for Christmas break. I also found out my student loan didn't go through, so now I cant afford to go visit my family that lives over 7 hours away. I guess I'll be spending Christmas alone in a dorm room. FML
Today, I sent a christmas card to my husband's uncle and aunt. I'd forgotten that the uncle died last year. FML
Happy Holidays
Today, after spending Christmas alone because my bus home got cancelled due to Covid, I found that I have to spend the New Year alone and potentially homeless because my flight home got cancelled. FML
Today, I finally got around to writing my Christmas cards. After finishing, I realized I had written "Happy Birthday" instead of "Merry Christmas" on every single one. FML
Today, I celebrated the new year. Alone. FML
Heartwarming
Today, my college roomate and I received our first pieces of mail. We were very excited because our mailbox wasn't empty anymore. She got a package of home baked cookies in the mail from her family. I got a letter from a stranger in prison. FML
Today, after having recently moved 300 miles to be with my boyfriend of 2 years, I have to celebrate Christmas alone. He never thought our relationship important enough to tell his family about me, and doesn't want it to be "awkward." FML
Social pariah
Today, I talked to exactly 0.0 people on Christmas, 0.0 people on New Year's, and I just checked my phone: The last call I received from anyone other than work or my tenant was October 29th. FML
Today, I went to my dad's house for Christmas. Soon enough, my grandma had commented on how much weight I've gained, my aunt asked me why I'm still single, and my dad joined in by reminding me that I still haven't been accepted into college. Only three more days to go. FML
Homesick
Today, it's my birthday, the first one in my college life. No one knew, and no one wished me. It’s fine, I guess. But as I sat alone in my room, I could hear laughter and cheers from hall they were celebrating someone else’s birthday. I tried not to care, but deep down, I felt little envious, and a little lonely. FML

Why do you have a "home, where [you] live alone" and live in a dorm room. That doesn't make any sense at all. Why in the world would you pay for both? And if you don't have to pay for one of them, then WHY do you pay for the other. This makes absolutely no sense.

I just did, and it's the same as back home with all the technology we have access to nowadays. But of course, I speak for myself.

And how many did you send, douchebag? I think in your part of the world, you say Happy Christmas instead of Merry Christmas like we do in the US of A. So, Happy Christmas, Douchebag! Do a Print Screen of this tape it to your ******* wall!

I was thinking the same thing!!! Why have a home where you live alone, AND a dorm room? Makes no sense to me.

Since the letters he received were for the person who lived at the house before my guess is that he had just recently bought the house and was in the process of moving from the dorm to the house

so THAT'S where Charlie Brown moved to.
