Today, I was visiting my new in-laws for the first time. During an awkward silence, I took my phone and figured I'd send my friend a text jokingly saying "Mayday, mayday! Somebody save me!" My mood lightened up a little and I felt quite well until my mother-in-law's phone beeped. Yep. FML

Are you the same guy that "accidentally"sent a nude picture to his best friend? You really need to check the person you're sending the message to.

Am I the only one who double checks the name or the number of who I'm texting before I send it?

I don't get it. First time you've met them and you've got her number in your phone?

I think this is bull...Why did you have her number in your phone if you have never met her....Your life sucks so bad you have to post a bunch of BS on fmylife.com to feel good about yourself!!

So you haven't met her, yet you already have her digits in your phone?

Where in Norway do you live? I live in Øyer :3

Ouch.. Wonder if the silence got worse or better.. Sør-trøndelag her og! ;-D

Maybe your in-laws have a good sense of humor? Heck, the in-laws were probably thinking that too, it was an awkward silence after all. They were probably just too polite to say anything. Your spouse probably felt the same way too.

Always check before you send....
