Today, I moved to Florida because I have poor circulation and need to be in a warm environment. The first day at my new job, I discovered my co-worker is an overweight man who wears a wool suit every day, and insists on keeping the office chilled to 65 degrees. I can't feel my fingers or toes. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, my skinny co-worker complained that sitting just underneath the AC vent was making her too cold. My boss had us switch places, because "your mass keeps you warm anyway". FML
Today, I've been freezing in my office for days at work. When I finally complained about it to a coworker, she led me into my office, said, "Let me show you something," then pointed out the thermostat I'd never noticed was even there and turned it up with a pitying look. FML
The chills
Today, despite living healthy and being only 40, I have such pathologically cold feet that I can only ever be comfortable while either having them on a hot water bottle or taking a vigorous walk. Everything else feels about as cosy as standing in ice water. FML
Today, some construction workers kept going in and out the door next to my cubicle. They decided it would be easier to just prop the door open for the next hour. It's 20 degrees outside, and I'm wearing a dress. FML
Arbitrary ruling
Today, I was written up at work because I took off my badge. While I was putting on a sweater for this cold weather. FML
Today, the company I work for decided to "go green" and stopped using the air conditioner to cool down the office. It is currently 81 degrees at my desk. FML
Today, it's -5°C outside and snowing and it's only September. If that wasn’t bad enough, we aren't allowed to have the heat on at work due to a menopausal monster who loses her shit and throws things if we turn it on. I can't feel my toes. FML
Sure, it's always the woman's fault
Today, I got to listen to my boss lecture me about professional dress and subtly insinuate that my being on the heavier side top-wise with all the men in the office could be a problem. I've worn turtle necks for the whole two months I've been working there. FML
Good Riddance
Today, while working at Starbucks, an elderly woman came up to me asking to turn up the heat. It was at 73. After explaining to her that corporate all the way across the country controls our heat, she's reporting me to corporate and is insisting I should be fired or she won't ever return. FML
Frozen
Today, thanks to a wonderful -40°F wind chill (I'm in the Midwest), I woke up this morning to a freezing cold house. I had to wear my shoes, a coat, and gloves. Indoors. For the whole morning and most of the afternoon. FML

Just keep your head cool and don't argue with him. You don't want things heating up in the office now do we?

You should have moved somewhere cold so your office would have the heat cranked everyday, op.

sucks for you. florida is terrible by the way. why would you want to leave somewhere where it's 95 degrees everyday

95? that's a nice temp. plus op could just turn it down. it's not healthy for it to be so cold inside then warm outside, I'm sure it would go into some OH&S. pick up your balls and say something.

95 is too hot depending where you live. 65 is ideal.

95 isnt bad unless its humid

100s in central Texas, starting around May it seems.. But it's not humid, so it's bearable.

OP just told you? Poor circulation.. I have poor circulation, and in the winter and fall I suffer a lot. I've always wanted to go somewhere warmer.

or the even more intelligent thing: take care of yourself. moving for poor circulation is like putting a bucket under a leaking roof and calling it fixed. I say YDI

#2.... she said she NEEDS to live where it's warm. bad circulation. that's why she would want to live there.

They figured out a way to convert alligator skin into a material similar to wool.
