Today, I got my phone back after bringing it in to get a crack in the screen repaired. The crack is fixed, but now the touch screen doesn't work and it won't connect to the Internet. I essentially paid to have my phone broken even more. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
A tale as old as… well, 2007?
Today, I got my phone fixed after the screen had been shattered for four months straight. Then, the moment they handed it to me, it fell straight to the floor and shattered. Again. FML
Precision strike
Today, I helped friends move home, and since we couldn't all fit in their car I took the bus. While waiting, my new phone slipped and crashed on the floor. It now has a cracked screen right between my two overpriced phone protectors. FML
Today, I stood in line for one hour to get a new phone. It then took me 2 minutes to drop it and shatter the screen, and 2 seconds for the employee to look at, laugh, and tell me, "That Sucks." FML
Today, after calling the insurance plan for my new iPhone a "huge waste of money", I promptly dropped it in the store while trying to put it into my pocket, cracking the screen. FML
Today, my history teacher confiscated my iPhone. She dropped it on the way back to her desk, and I now have a shattered iPhone screen to fix. FML
Today, after having lost my phone three days ago, I paid a $150 non-refundable fee to have my phone replaced and mailed to me by Tuesday. A half hour later, I found my original phone. FML
Those were some hefty dogs
Today, after getting my phone fixed last week because my daughter dropped it and it landed on a corner, I dropped it again at the dog park and several big dogs fighting with my dog stepped on it. One of them cracked the screen again. FML
Today, I used a prank app, where you shake the cell, and it makes the screen looks cracked. I ended up losing my grip on the phone. It went flying, and it is now cracked for real. FML
Today, my phone stopped charging. I panicked because I can't really afford to get it fixed, and it's too stressful a time at my last semester at university to not have a phone. I took it to the repair shop, and the man turned it off and on again. it works perfectly. I'm a total idiot. FML
The blame game
Today, my brother got mad at me for breaking the screen on his phone. He'd already dropped it so many times that the whole screen was cracked to the point that you couldn't see anything on it, but for some reason, I am fully responsible for its destruction because I accidentally delivered the finishing blow. Yeah, that's definitely not okay. Go back and make them fix it again-- correctly this time

Exact same thing happened to me. I just took it back to the repair place showed them the problem and they fixed it for free.

you got scammed. Unless you signed something they are liable. You paid for a service and if they don't deliver you can hold them legaly accountable. I'm no lawyer so please correct me if I'm wrong.

Try to explain and get a new one, you deserve to have a good phone considering the money you paid OP.

idk where you live but here you should be guaranteed either a refund or them fixing it properly whatever you want really because they've changed it from a minor to a major failure on the phone. if you go back and they don't fix it they would be braking the law (at least here, Soz I'm not sure where you are ir what the law is there)

Sue your phone doctor for malpractice

Or you could just go back and let them fix it for free since the are the once that messed it up. No need to sue people

Wow, at a time when phone security is a national issue, you've gotten your phone… uh, encrypted as a bonus. How generous.

That happened to me, except it wouldn't even turn on... And they said because I signed a contract there was nothing I could do. So we took it to another place and they said that there was internal damage from it being dropped and the screen was cracked and all of the inside stuff was a jumbled mess.

then how did you type this out
