Today, I arrived at the station at 7:30pm sharp for the train... which was cancelled. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I arrived right on time for my train. Only problem, it was the wrong station. FML
Confused, lost
Today, I missed my train. I was actually on the right platform but realized my mistake two minutes after it had left. FML
Today, my train departed over 10 minutes early. It was the last train of the day. I missed my transatlantic flight and along with it the vacation and concert I'd spent over a year saving for. FML
The passenger
Today, I was starting a new job and I didn't want to be late, so I took a train that left earlier than normal, just to make sure I'd be on time. Turns out, the earlier train wasn't an express train, and made it to my stop 12 minutes after my usual one did. I was late for work. FML
Today, I had to take the train from my hometown to my university for a very important meeting concerning my foreign exchange program. When I finally arrived, I noticed a Post-it on the door: "Meeting cancelled, sick". I basically made a 9-hour day-trip for a half-an-hour walk. FML
Platform B
Today, I was running late for a train and bought a ticket in a hurry. I got on the wrong train, sat there for twenty minutes, and only realised my mistake when the scenery looked nothing like my stop. FML
Confused
Today, my train was delayed, so I sprinted across the station to catch another one. I made it onto the train just before the doors closed. Then I looked around and realized I had boarded the exact same train I had just gotten off. FML
Wake up Boo!
Today, my work made us all get up at 3 a.m. to head to the airport for our 7 a.m. flight, only for us to get to the airport and find out the flight is cancelled. FML
Today, my train was canceled so my ticket expired by the time another train arrived. I was fined $90 by ticket inspectors 'cause my claim that the early train didn't run was "unsubstantiated". Leaving the train I was pushed by the crowd, fell, lost a shoe and had to walk home with one bare foot. FML
Wrong way down a one way strrreeeeet
Today, I took the wrong train and didn’t realise it until it arrived in Aberdeen. Eight hours from where I was meant to go. FML

That sucks. Wish there was more to the story, though.

This does make a lot of sense as you may not be familiar with the local laws, rules and regulations. Soldiers that have to go to Korea go through the same thing even if it's their 2nd, 3rd or 100th time being stationed there. They have to know what bars are "black" listed due to the local prostitution that goes on in some bars. I'm not quite sure China may have the same issues but it is better to know now, than getting into trouble your first few nights and not knowing!

Just don't do anything stupid or get in trouble then they won't put you into hard labour work

You're in a different country my friend. Different laws for different countries. Better safe than sorry and winding up in jail.

In other words, a party to tell you not to party
pjsr 33
So... basically a party to say 'Don't party'

Stop whining about it.....you could be sitting behind bars eating rice for days on end
trucker2 33
They could've given you a complementary weekend in jail...... And your very own set of chopsticks

So... a party to tell you 'Don't party!'
