Today, as always, my mom slams every door she closes. I faint when I hear loud sounds. FML
Today, my mom screamed at me for being startled by her, calling my reaction “unnecessary and extremely rude.” When I tried to explain to her for the millionth time that I startle easily, and it’s involuntary, she told me to “make it voluntary, or else.” I fear what is to come. FML
Today, my step-mom tried to ground me. I met her just yesterday, when she moved in. FML
Today, my mom complained that I was being too loud, and she smacked my head really hard. All while screaming at me. FML
Today, while trying to walk past my mother in the hallway, I hesitated because she suddenly moved to the side. She screamed at me for a solid five minutes about not being able to "predict her movements." And she wonders why I’m suicidal. FML
Today, my raving lunatic mother screamed at me for being "disrespectful", threatened to not pay for my college, swore at me, and accused me of having multiple personality disorder, all in rapid succession. This was provoked by me sneezing. FML
Today, my mom was in a really bad mood, so I stayed in my room to avoid her. It didn't take long before she barged in and started bitching about my dog, who'd pissed her off by acting too happy. Yes, she's actually that insane, and I have to deal with it on a daily basis. FML
Today, I got home from work to find the door locked and dead bolted, so I used my cell to call the home phone while banging on the door. My stepmom came out of her room, looked right at me, laughed, and went back to bed. This is the fifth time she's done this. FML
Today, every time I practice my synthesizer, without fail, my stepmom decides to make as much noise as humanly possible. Slamming doors, stomping around in her loudest heels, dropping weights, screaming, you name it. I can hear her through my noise cancelling headphones and I can’t focus. FML
Today, my mother stormed into my room shouting about how I never go anywhere and then tells me to go out "NOW" and do something. As she is pushing me out the door, her boyfriend walks in. FML

Speak to your dad, and tell him that if he doesn't make her stop, he should let you have a lock on your door. It's not right that he lets her carry on. She's clearly doing it on purpose, and there may be one day where it causes you to do more than faint.

Saran wrap across the door, face height, if the door opens outward. If it opens inward, glitter buckets. Definitely tell your dad and if he argues otherwise, record it. Put a sign on your door, stating that for your safety she needs to knock. Film the sign, then film her barging in, and social media it if this crap continues. And if you get hurt, take a few of those videos with you to the hospital and get her banned from your hospital room. Public humiliation has never gone out of vogue.

first go see a neurologist fainting when startled is a serious issue second if you have to get a personal protection order against your stepmother because what she is doing is torture and cruel and this would be considered emotional abuse and if your father is not willing to make her stop this would also be considered abuse on his part 😡
