Today, because I’m on my period, I asked my boyfriend to turn around so I could change my clothes. He replied, “Oh you know, I’ve seen worse, I’ve been watching Dexter.” FML

Well, once you've watched Dexter, you can handle anything...

Yeahhh, I can't vote on this one. Doesn't sound like a big deal.

That's actually a really nice reaction. Plus if you're so self-conscious about it why not go to the bathroom to change?

I found the ending of Dexter disappointing.

#18, I couldn't finish Dexter because his wife/girlfriend (IDR) and his sister were really annoying :/

What ending? There's no ending as far as I'm concerned :p

Why be upset? At least he's not totally grossed out by your period. A lot of guys are squicked out by the fact that their wives/girlfriends bleed once a month.

after waking up to a proverbial murder scene in college with my ex at the time. this would've been my reaction as well. I guess most guys are grossed out by menstrual cycles and period blood, but IMHO any guy that is so grossed out by periods (besides those who faint at the sight of any blood, which is a different issue entirely) that they cant look at it, much less talk or think about it is not a real man. its been happening for as long as humans have existed, and its not gonna stop. if you're man enough to stick your dick in it, then you should be able to deal with "that time of the month" otherwise expect to have alot of kids because the only way to stop it is either constant pregnancy or anorexia

#21 Thank you. You are a real man :) I used to feel ashamed when I was on my period, because we were taught it is weird, gross... And because my friends always were ashamed when they were on theirs. Once when I was in junior high, I tried to sneak a pad from my bag into my hand to take it to the bathroom. A boy in my class noticed and started laughing at the fact that I was on my period. I mean, seriously? I'm sorry I'm a woman.
