Today, after telling my boss how I was looking at purchasing a motorcycle, she went on a rant complaining about how if I die, she'll have to train a new employee. Thanks boss. FML

Haha no it's my third job. Funny thing is we also argue about where to store our files. I work in medical billing, and I am constantly working at one of our three offices, so I usually store my files in our Dropbox file but sometimes I save to desktop and can't access it from the other offices ? and she wants me to delete my files after I'm done with them

What she meant is your an irreplaceable asset to the company, and to try and train another as your replacement in the unfortunate circumstance you die, would be a waste of time and money. At least that's what I got from this.

She's an asshole, but she's not wrong about the increased risk of death. When a motorcycle's pitted against a tree or a car, the motorcycle loses. My fiancee and I have an ongoing deal that I'll never get a pet spider and she'll never get a motorcycle. I couldn't handle losing her like that. Just...be careful, alright? What 10 said about never trusting other drivers. I have to dodge enough idiots on the road while I'm driving a car, let alone a bike.

I would Love a pet spider! Beautiful creatures they are!

As much as it sounds assholish,'it's very true. 90 percent of accident victims I come across in the ED were biking. Still, that's an unusual way to show concern, even if said tongue in cheek

Haters gonna hate, bikers gonna bike. Fact of life

It sounds to me that she don't mean it about worrying to train another employee. More like a fun way to tell you not to do it cuz it's dangerous

sounds like she may just be joking with you.

There's a reason you never see a motorcycle parked in the patient spaces at a mental health clinic. Bikers are generally happy people, and happy people make happy workers, and happy workers are productive workers. New office rule: Everybody gets a bike, and every Friday afternoon is Office Therapy. Production through the roof, boss gets a raise, everybody wins.

Could be you never see them there because the died from an accident on their dearh machine before they could make it to the appointment.

You don't trust yourself on a bike and don't want the fun of riding, then you probably shouldn't ride. You don't get to tell me not to ride, though. Howzabout I'll watch out for you on the road, you watch out for me on the road, nobody dies, everybody wins. Deal?

#25 it's most dangerous part about a motorcycle is the driver and the other people on the road.
