Today, a piece of candy thrown from the top of the Eiffel Tower broke one of the lenses of my glasses. FML

that actually doesn't happen. the penny is stopped by another floor before it could hit the ground.

Even if it didn't hit anything on the way down, and happen to hit someone, it wouldn't kill them, but it'd still hurt like hell

I guess the only good part about this story is that the candy didn't land on your head.... who knows what damage it would have caused at that velocity
