Theater kid issues

Today, all of the long hours I've spent rehearsing paid off because tonight I'll be the lead at the opening show of my school musical. This is a dream come true. Too bad I just got bronchitis. FML

Unless you live in China and breathe air pollution all day everyday, you deserve it. I don't care why you started smoking or why you didn't quit. You deserve it 100%. Smoking Tobacco is avoidable yet you continued it to the point of either acute or chronic bron-*******-chitis. Seriously how do people smoke for so long KNOWING the consequences.

Bronchitis is very common, it's contagious, and is usually caused by a virus, like a cold. OP probably just got sick, and you have no evidence that they smoke. Smoking is a bad choice, but it's really not that easy to quit. Sometimes, people give up, and that's sad, but why are you so mad about this guy's choices? It's not like it affects you.

#43 Well we got an idiot over here. Not only is it contagious, it also can just appear after you been sick with the flue for example. There are 2 types of bronchitis, the first one is temporarely and the second one is for unknown time, neither are caused by smoking or inhaling bad air.

@43 Smoking is only one of hundreds of ways to get bronchitis. Bronchitis, when broken down into its root and combining forms, simply means inflammation of the bronchi. You can get it from a cold, the flu, pollution, second-hand smoke, etc. Please educate yourself before hurling accusations.

Not to belittle the accomplishment, but if this is high school, you will absolutely have more important and positive memories from your first year after graduation.

That's rough, OP. A few years ago my school's production almost had to be careful because everyone was getting sick the week before >.< Feel better and break a leg!
