Today, my country’s congress failed on key legislation for social supports, voting rights and climate change. Thus probably dooming our democracy, our planet, and our species. Society may collapse within my lifetime. I don’t know how to protect my loved ones, nor how to process my grief and fear. FML

Today, like every day for the past few weeks, I watched the richest man in the world, who was never elected to any office, tear my government apart to make himself and his friends richer. We're so fucked. I'm so afraid for my family and loved ones. I don't know how to cope or protect them. FML
Today, my country told me that I don’t matter, and my right to my body and the care for that body is not my own. FML
Today, I live in the same country that deployed the National Guard to suppress peaceful BLM protests, yet allowed a bunch of psychotic Trump supporters to break into the Capitol. I’m ashamed to be human right now. FML
Today, I learned that my country has canceled all our offshore wind farms, putting the fight against the climate crisis back probably fifty years. When I told my husband, he said, "Good, we don't want to be the beached whale capital of the world". THE CLIMATE CRISIS, PEOPLE! FML
Today, I realized just how we humans are dooming ourselves every day with the progressively insurmountable climate change, while people are being stupid arguing which is best, cold weather or hot weather. And that's just to name a few things to think humans ain't evolving any further at all. FML
Today, I realized it became my duty as an American to check in on nearby friends and family every time another mass shooting happens. My government refuses to do anything about it. FML
Today, my country went on strike and is overthrowing the government, and I'm stuck on a night shift at work. FML
Today, my country is going back into a full national lockdown after the government swore they wouldn't do another one. We desperately need to stop the spread, but with so many U-turns and broken rules from the government, no one is going to listen. FML
Today, I’m about to lose my marbles. I can’t speak up because I need to keep the peace, but if I don’t it’s gonna enrage me to the point where I explode, so I’m essentially teetering on a wall with shit on one side and fire on the other. FML. Just FML. FML
Today, I was born and raised in Georgia, and later moved to Florida for college. I'm not sure which state has more embarrassing representation right now. I'm literally scared of what new laws might be passed, or what rights taken away. I wish I had enough money to move to another country. FML

If you're that despondent, you ought to assassinate a GOP senator from a state with a Democrat governor. That way, Manchin can be kicked out and the New Democrat can be the 50th vote. You might as well go out with a blaze of glory!

Man I am trying to figure out how I managed to raise kids with having to pay for my kids preschool and childcare. But the one thing I am sure on, I’m sick of paying more for food, gasoline, and electricity. Oh yeah, I forgot, the only problems in this country are child care, elder care and preschool, not that pesky 40 yr high inflation that a certain President caused, and Coronavirus which was declared over in July.

I love all the comments about reading books, touching grass and not watching TV… like you people do anything else besides watching Fox feed you their warm diahrrea and think the USA is the best country in the world, but you don't actually give a **** about other Americans on your street. "I got mine, so don't care about yours" is such a terrible mindset. We're supposed to support each other, you assholes. I love you all, though.
