Respect Independence Day!
Today, my manager made me remove an Eiffel Tower ornament from one of my displays. Not because it didn't look good or match the theme, but because it was "disrespectful" to have it out on the 4th of July. FML

he didn't. it was designed by Bartholdi.

Bartholdi was the sculptor, Eiffel was the engineer.

Fun fact 1 the same guy designed the Eifel tower and the Statue of Liberty Fun fact 2, France sent soldiers (led by Lafayette), money and weapons, that ultimatly allowed the victory over british... so if there is one day of year the Eifel tower should not me removed , it's on 4th of July...

Well back tracking our large symbol of the fourth is the stature of liberty which was from France thus the Eiffel Tower is relevant...

Can't have a Statue of Liberty ornament either because that was made by the French. :P
