Today, I need to know whether it's better to be in a relationship in which I'm not loved and have no intimacy, or live on my own with no family or friends. if I were alone though, I could live in my underwear and eat cereal for dinner if I wanted to. FML

Today, my love life comes down to a choice in loneliness: I can either be alone, because I never meet anyone these days, let alone an interesting guy. Or, I can go back to my ex, who I left because he made me feel alone while sitting right next to him. FML
Today, I wish I could go back to living alone in a van, sleeping, eating, and showering in the truck stop that's near my job. I've tried to be a model husband and father for over a decade, and am left depressed, and exhausted. I love them all just enough to not actually abandon them. FML
Today, when I’m alone I suffer from crippling loneliness that makes me cry, yet when I have people around me or I try to go on dates, I hate it so, I make excuses to be alone again. FML
Today, I realized I'm more happier alone than I ever will with somebody else. FML
Today, did you ever ask yourself if someone loves you? I have, so many times, and my answer is always nobody. I live with my grandma and my sister; my sister has one boyfriend from Russia, and my grandma has sex every night, and I feel invisible. Only my neighbor makes me feel like a real family. FML
Today, I noticed that I feel the loneliest when I'm with my family. I was raised in group homes for most of my childhood and I'm sure my mother doesn't want me, and she hasn't for years. My brothers used to disappear as kids and just do what they wanted, whereas I'd be home before curfew and I rarely acted out but still I'm unwanted. FML
Today, my depression has reached the point where I'm not sure if I'm even living anymore. Sure, I'm very much alive and able to type this, but I feel as though I'm just existing. Taking up space. Doing nothing. I can't be alone here, right? FML

Today, after being single for a year, I finally have a boyfriend. Today, my chronic nightmares also started up again after being gone for a year. Apparently I'm allowed to have either a love life, or sleep. Not both. FML

Go live on your own and find some friends. Reach out to coworkers, join a gym, find a book club, whatever.

Never remain in a relationship where you are not loved. Like someone else stated, get a pet and live on your own. There is nothing wrong with living in your underwear and eating cereal for dinner as long as you are happy doing it. Live your life the way you want

you need to decide which is best for you, sometimes the loneliness in a relationship can be fixed if communication and empathy are given to each other. if it doesn't help or make it what you desire, then start thinking what changes you need to do to bring your happiness. if it's ending it, the more power to you. good luck

I was married to a wannabe dictator who secretly hated me and ruled me with an iron fist. Everything I did was wrong. She even mocked my achievements, ones she could never hope to accomplish on her own. So yeah, being alone is better than deluding yourself into thinking you’re happily married when you’re actually the opposite.

Compromise: 1) Eat Cereal for dinner. this is non-negotiable. 2) Be yourself and find someone who also will chill in their skivies. Look for comfort with someone. While there is nothing wrong with finding the trophy S.O., be yourself and you will find the comfort you actually desire.
