Narcolepsy? Boredom?
Today, I was fired for falling asleep at work. I’m still not sure how I fell asleep, seeing as I’m a stocker and I was actively putting cans on the shelf when it happened. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I got into trouble for sleeping at work. FML
Today, I accidentally fell asleep at work after working a 12-hour shift. Instead of waking me up, my coworkers spiked my coffee mug with whiskey and told my boss I was drunk. My boss wouldn't even listen to my side of the story and fired me. FML
Today, while working from home, I was super drowsy after a heavy bar hangout with the boys. I took a call from a customer. Next thing I know, the call was no longer there. My boss called me to tell me they left a one-star review on our site, saying I fell asleep and snored mid-call. Yes, I was fired. FML
Today, I worked 24 hours straight fixing my company's servers. After it was over, I breathed a huge sigh of relief and promptly fell asleep at my desk. My boss found me an hour later, refused to listen to me, and fired me for sleeping on the job. FML
Today, while at work I passed out due to my blood sugar not being normal. Despite the fact that it took 10 minutes to wake me, no one thought I was in any sort of danger. After the episode, I then got fired for "sleeping on the job." FML
Today, I was sitting in my car waiting my shift to start. I must've fallen asleep because I woke up to a call from my boss firing me. I was in the parking lot. FML
Today, I was demoted at my job for sleeping in the store when I'd have a few after closing. Apparently, they would rather have me drive drunk than do the responsible thing. FML
Today, I apparently fell asleep during a work Zoom meeting. I awoke to no meeting on my screen and an e-mail from my boss saying I was terminated, and to do something about my "sleep apnea." FML
Today, I was fired. Last week, I was written up because I came in one minute late from lunch break. The week before, I was yelled at for yawning. I found out it was all a plan for my boss’s favorite employee to get promoted to my position, so they wanted a reason to terminate me. I work in an “at will” state. FML
Today, it's been 3 weeks since I was suspended and the fired from my job for falling asleep at the desk. Very unprofessional, even if I was 29 weeks pregnant and sick. It's also been 3 weeks since I've had trouble falling asleep because I'm too used to working nights. FML

I would go see a doctor, that doesn't sound normal.

If you have proof (you were in front of a camera or someone saw you stocking shelves) I'd gather proof and show them. I'd also ask for proof of me sleeping.

I would get that checked out. sounds like you are narcoleptic. you can get them to reverse the firing or atleast change that to laid off due to inability to perform the duties because of health related issues which makes getting your next job a million times better. next job calls your previous employment and the boss says you were sleeping on the job. the next guy won't hire you. and if you are narcoleptic, there is treatments and whatnot to help with that. however they may pull your license if they believe it bad enough. however id rather not have a license and not be killed trying to drive. my buddy was narcoleptic. his driving was a little nerve racking sometimes.

They legally can’t ask why they were let go, only if they would hire them again or give them a recommendation

if you believe they don't talk about why you were fired, you are gullible. it may be illegal but it doesn't stop them.

you sure you did not just pass out and your boss is trying to be a dick?
