It's not called a pandemic for nothing
Today, I found out that no matter how careful you are during this pandemic, wearing a mask, washing hands, and social distancing, you can still get COVID. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, despite getting all vaccinations and taking all precautions, I've tested positive for Covid. Again. FML
Today, I'm quit my job after finding out that there were multiple confirmed cases of Covid-19. It wouldn't be a big deal, if I didn't find out that people aren't following safe distancing, checking their body heat, walking about without face masks, and leaving the entire site dirty as fuck. FML
Today, I found out I might have Covid due to my manager's roommate getting it by being irresponsible. Two days ago, I found out I may have hep A from getting takeout at a restaurant. FML
Today, I realised the biggest FML this year was getting into online debates with people about Covid not being a hoax. One guy even said it was over, while I knew the numbers were climbing back up as I work in health-care, and I was sat on a toilet with diarrhea because I have Covid myself. FML
Today, I found out that the same doctor who came over to run Covid tests on my family actually infected us with it. FML
Today, I woke up with a dry cough, which is a red flag for COVID. I took a home test, came up positive; went to a doctor, same result. I get home, mask up, and tell my roommates to test. I'm still in the process of telling the family I can't make it for Thanksgiving when my roomies test positive, too. FML
Today, I woke up with a rash on my face after just getting over a bad cold. I was told by the doctor that it was a staph infection spread by wearing a face mask. The face mask I wore so people wouldn’t catch the cold from me. FML
Today, I tested positive for Covid. Not only do I feel absolutely miserable, but I was at work all day yesterday, interacting with the public. Also, the day before that, I hung out at a friend's house with a 3-month-old infant. If any one of them get Covid, it's my fault. FML
Today, I found out that I can’t get my COVID vaccine due to my chance of going into anaphylactic shock. FML
Today, an angry customer rubbed her hand all over my face, all while showing me her positive COVID-19 test results. FML
Feel like sharing it with the other FML users?

Yes, because again, you wear the mask to protect others. It's like like 30% effective in your defense if you wear it. I think it's 70% of someone ELSE wears it. The problem is everyone else that decided it was their right to get other people, including yourself, sick

That was obvious. You just found out the hard way. Hey, we all knew there was a risk. Now you must do your part and take care of your body and social distance yourself to protect others.

You could do all of the above and still get the common cold. Unfortunately it's a risk we take if we need to leave our homes.
