Today, I went for a checkup after having recently been fitted with dental implants. The oral surgeon I chose was supposedly the best in the area, but it turns out that he inserted the implants at the wrong angle. Now I have to have further surgery to correct it. FML

Today, my dentist pulled the wrong tooth. FML
Today, I got a root canal. It wouldn't have been that bad if the dentist hadn't performed it on the wrong tooth. FML
Today, it was the fourth time I've had major dental work done, because my dentist messed up my root canal. After almost a dozen needles, three missed work days, over $1,000, and 2 broken tools, I only have a tiny, barely-successful filling to show for it. FML
Today, I went to the dentist to get a tooth pulled. When I woke up I found out they pulled the wrong one. FML
Today, I went to the dentist two years after having a front tooth knocked out because I could finally (barely) afford the $4000 bill for an implant. They checked me out and told me that my teeth have shifted to the point that I’ll need braces before receiving an implant, for another $4k bill. I’m sick of looking like a hick. FML
Today, I went to the dentist to have two cavities filled. I hate going to the dentist. After he'd started drilling, I heard a "clunk" noise followed by an "Oops." My dentist had cut my tooth in half. Now I have to get surgery to have the tooth extracted. FML
Today, I had an appointment with my dentist to check for cavities. He told me that most of my teeth have cavities, and that I may need a root canal. In fact, I ended up actually getting a painful root canal. FML
Today, I was having drilling work done on my teeth. My dentist slipped and drilled a hole in my cheek. I said mistakes happen, but that I didn't expect to pay for the work. They still billed me for it and sent me a prescription that I had to go and get (and pay for) in case it got infected. FML
Today, after two root canal procedures done on the same tooth in last two years, the tooth had been acting up for a few days, so I went in to get it checked. Turns out, it got infected AGAIN and I gotta get a THIRD root canal done on the same tooth. FML
Today, on my way to the dentist, I got rear ended by my own dentist. FML

Implant dentist has Backward Day. So sorry, OP. :( He should pay to correct it, or you (or your insurance company) should go after him. Hope the asshole didn't make you sign one of those don't-disclose-on-the-internet forms.

Someone messes up that bad with me and doesn't offer to make it right, I will scream loud enough for the next 5 counties to hear it. Wouldn't need the Internet at that point. Hell, I just did it to a serviceman at my home and got 800 in repairs for free. I'm normally a very nice and understanding person about mistakes. I'm not so nice when they don't make them right.

Time to do what I did...threaten to not only take your business elsewhere, but to refuse payment & sue for mental anguish, pain & suffering, loss of work (if you work & have been unable as a result of the pain)...my dentist not only did my dental work for free, but also cleared my balance owed & did free work for my wife & her daughter..(aprox $5,000.00 worth...my balance was only $350.00) :) He didn't want bad "word of mouth" publicity, loss of possible referrals or a lawsuit.
