Cheating cheater
Today, my boss's son is training to take over my job as head translator, after having convinced his dad that he's fluent in Spanish, and that my skills suck. I soon walked in on him using Google Translate on a legal document. My boss refuses to believe me. FML

As a fellow translator I feel OP's pain. It doesn't matter what you say to your boss, if he doesn't know the language he won't be able to figure out how poor his son's skills are. I hope your clients complain soon!

Google Translate sucks anyway, the boss will probably realise you're way better than his son soon

And do that in front of your boss

That'll only work if the boss speaks Spanish too

Maybe you should just drag him in their and accuse him of it in front of your boss in Spanish.

Get a new job and let them fall on their own sword. Translation is a valuable skill so you can get another job.

He'll be calling you back after the young guy has ruined several things with his "translating".

I suggest if you ever walked in on him doing that again, take a picture of it and show it to your boss. He would have to believe you then.

The boss's son would just make up some bullshit excuse, though.
