that actually happened to my roommate-- only she wasn't dating the guy, they'd just been talking for a few years. A few weeks ago though, he said he had a confession to make.... he turned out to be a really creepy lesbian, that's obsessed with my roommate now, and won't leave her alone... my advice: don't date anyone online until you meet them in person.
