But mah grandbabiiiiies
Today, according to my mom, she didn’t make the selfless decision to have me just for me to grow up and make the completely selfish decision not to marry my long term partner, nor to give her any grandkids. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, once again, my mom ranted about how she sacrificed so much for me by moving to a better city. I said it was for my education and to stop making me feel like a burden. She scoffed, "Right, you never should've been born. My mistake." FML
Today, my mom had to go off on my grandmother because I don’t have kids yet and she, "wants great grand babies before she dies." My grandmother was going to gift me a baby outfit for me to get another hint. I’m 25 and can’t conceive because of health issues. I may never have my own kids. She knows. FML
Today, I found out that in the past, my mother has paid or outright threatened my girlfriends into breaking up with me, because they were, "unsuitable trash not fit to be the mothers of my future grand babies." This explains why I’m 47 and have never married or had children. FML
Today, my mom told me that I will never see my siblings again because I refused to attend her wedding to another woman. FML
Today, I tried to have a conversation with my mom. As usual, it turned into an hour long gush about how much she loves her grandkids. When I said, “You know you have children as well, right?” She goes, "Yeah but I only had them to have grandchildren for me!” FML
Today, my mom asked me out of the blue if I was ever going to consider getting married. It wasn't until after the conversation ended that I remembered my siblings are all either single like I am, or incapable of having children. I am my mother's last hope of becoming a grandma, and she reminds me all the time. FML
Today, my mother told me to my face that if she could do it all over again, she wouldn't have had kids. Thanks, Mum. It's not like I asked to be born. FML
Today, my mother-in-law asked me when my fiancé and I were going to start having children. When I told her we weren't planning on having any, she went on a tirade about how selfish and cold I am for denying her precious grandchildren. Now she hates me. FML
Today, my husband and I recently decided not to have kids, because neither of us like children. Learning this, my dad wrote me out of his will and my mother swore on the Bible in church that she’s never going to speak to me again until I obey God's word and start multiplying. FML
Today, my mom told me to be my sister’s maid of honor at her wedding or I’m out of her will. She says if I don’t go, I’m being selfish, and she wants to see her “baby girls” bonding one last time before she dies. I would gladly go if my sister wasn’t marrying my ex-husband, who cheated on me with her. FML

It's not selfless if you expected something in return.

If your birth came with the stipulation that you have your own children/give her grandchildren it was in fact not "selfless".

Either give her some grandkids or pay her the $1,000,000 or so that it cost her to raise your selfish, disappointing ass.

I assume you're joking based on the fact you rarely make serious comments. However, there are sufficiently many stupid people who think kids basically owe their whole lives to their parents and should be utterly miserable just to please them. You probably chose to have your kids, therefore they owe you zilch. If you didn't choose to have them, as is likely to be the case of millions of women in the US now, then you shouldn't force your kids to go through the same ordeal you did. Also, few families spend 1,000,000$ on their children. Over the course of 20 years that'd amount to 50k/year. If you had that kind of money to spend on each of your children, stop bitching and pay your taxes.

You don't owe your parents anything other than gratitude. It's selfish for her to pressure you. It's emotional blackmail.

Geesh, that's why you should always have a backup child. Giving 1 person the power to end your family line is crazy.

Marriage is a state of mind. A building a life together. You don't need the nosy ass government's permission to build any kind of life you want. Some people can't accept that it's perfectly ok to not want kids, or want them later. This is a horrible world to bring kids into. If you really wanna piss her off, tell her she's the reason you don't want children.
