Bad omen

Today, my wife hates being a mom so much that our daughter is practically being raised by her grandparents, due to how often she just drops her at their house, multiple times a week. I of course pick her straight up as soon as I finish work, but it’s her bedtime only an hour later. This is not good. FML

Postpartum depression?

if that's not enough time to parent them why is that all you see them either? she's probably just sick of being a single mother

Make the best of that hour!

Sounds like you need to find a job that allows you to stay home with your kids. Or, you can drop them at the firestation.

Sounds like you're never home. Do you hate being a father, too?

What's wrong with the "grandparent technique"? If Grandma and Grandpa agree, that could be a great way for your wife to work without spending too much on babysitters. Lots of children have been "practically raised by their grandparents" without any issue, and they often learn a second language in the process. Plus, you pick up your daughter every night, which allows you one hour a day of father-daughter quality time. Win-win-win!
