I wish he asked that so he'd know when to help and be prepared for it, that's the only reason I think a girl should be asked if she's on her period.
other than the "stay the hell away" part, I see absolutely no problem with a guy having the app. would you rather surprise him with being an emotional irritable woman, or have him be somewhat prepared to know what to expect, instead of finding out how miserable you can be out of the blue and everything being his fault...my last girlfriend suggested me to have the app.
Guys! If your period actually causes huge mood swings you probably suffer from Premenstrual Dysphoric disorder and you should get treated. It's not actually normal for periods to make women especially emotional. A little more irritable is normal (especially if cramps and such are very painful for you), but big enough differences in mood to make you unpleasant to be around are not. Men just like claiming our periods make us more emotional because they will take any excuse to invalidate women. Some women believe in the mood swings even when their period doesn't actually cause them mood swings, so they develop a confirmation bias problem and attribute all their emotions to their period when they happen to be on their period, and they may even express their emotions more when they're on their period though the level of emotion they actually feel is the same both on and off their period. What's especially telling is that people often say the PMS symptoms happen during their period when in fact, PMS is PREmenstrual syndrome! It happens 10-14 days before your period if at all! If a guy won't hang out with you when you're on your period, it's an indication that he only cares about you if you're sexually available and that is grounds for a breakup. Any decent boyfriend will cuddle with you when you're on your period and put his hands on your lower belly to help the cramps and maybe bring you chocolate or raspberry tea depending on what you need.
I really wasn't gonna touch this one...dammit.... As many users have written before some women are INSUFFERABLE on their periods. And not just before (referred to as PMS) either. Notice how I didn't write all or most women, but it happens - bias or not. Thats not the point though. "Men just like claiming our periods make us more emotional because they will take any excuse to invalidate women." Seriously? Maybe you should change your social group. Or your outlook on life. Or both,
I'd like to add that yes, some men do indeed blame every female emotion on the menstrual cycle, but until WOMEN stop blaming that how can we expect men to?!
He needs to grow up,does he think we enjoy having blood gushing out of our girl parts and having cramps all day?
Gushing? Really? I'd avoid that...
Stay single then lmao
But which week does he mean? The week of your period or week you're able to have a baby? If its the week of your period then I'm sorry he's an ass. Week of fertility, well you deserve it for not being understand of someone whose not ready for kids yet.
I don't see the Problem here
And this is where you respond with "All of them"
theres an app for that? holy shit thats genious!!!! u should do what he sais
I use an app like that, it actually helps me plan out my week so I can have Netflix days and remind myself to stay chill whenever someone interacts with me :D

I would have responded with "if you ever ask that again, all of them."
He should man up and love you every day of the month. Besides, I don't get what guys get so freaked out about. A period means that you aren't pregnant! If I were a guy, I'd be thrilled every month to get this news!
