Why are you assuming he's mediocre? Maybe he's such a cassanova that he has too many women begging for sex. Might sound absurd but it's just as assuming.
I'm assuming this based on the fact that he bailed on their date means that he's not into her. And if he's not into her, he's likely not to be into her even when he's in her.
Well I think the universe agreed you needed to treat yourself and not waste your time.

Wait...you changed shifts with a coworker and then arranged child care? Do you normally bring your kids to work with you?
She arranged childcare so that her kids werent home for her date. this fml isnt about her job its about her being stood up for a Netflix date. she got someone to take her shift then someone to watch her kids so it would be just her and her date. but her date lamely canceled on her.
