WTH happened?

Today, I woke up after a night of drinking in my backyard. All I was wearing were my boxers and one sock. I staggered up to see my car halfway through my garage wall, with a note saying, "Sorry dude". FML

Dude I feel for ya!!! I have had many mornings where I don't remember the night before but basically after seeing and hearing from my friends what I did or wasn't suppose to do I was kinda of glad that I didn't remember so yeah I feel for ya

Thank god that your car didn't go through some innocent person's home or worse, like killing an innocent bystander. I hate douchebags that drink drive like the OP's friends (it seems)

It seems like the general consensus is that OP deserved this for drinking. Can someone please explain to me how drinking too much means that you deserve for your friend to drive your car through a wall in your house??? Also #25 and #21, lots of good things come from drinking. This awesome story for example!

uhm because he drank so much that he let his, most likely, drunk friend drive his car and therefore caused damage to his garage.

theres no way insurance will cover that, its 1. a drinking and driving incident which most likely wont be reported, 2. its not an accident, and 3. what are the odds that hes going to get the thousands of dollars out of his friend to fix the garage?
