I have actually had this happen to me (the channel chaning bit). Our neighbours had same satelitte box remote frequency as us, they'd change our channel on us. We fixed it by calling our provider and having the remote frequency changed for our receiver. FYL though, some neighbours can be such jerks for no reason at all.
Well, did you?
Really?
*sigh*
I wanna live in your town if that's the worst of what is going on.
Lol. It's definitely better than Little Rock.
You should have just closed the door on their face
Yes because police love getting the door slammed in their face. They usually respond by skipping away through a bed of daffodils right? Or you know, they could break the door down. That might be a tad more likely.
Dang, when I lived in Mexico, I couldn't even get the police to go to my neighbors' apartment to intervene in a case of domestic violence. In the US, they'll go for anything. I'm not sure which is more f'd up.
Tell the cop you don't need no stinkin' remote, you change their channels with the power of your brain. Then, go on to say if they don't leave you alone, they'll be watching lots of QVC at full volume.
Or the 'Using your TiVo/remote' instruction show on a loop. I don't really know what it's called in America, so that's my best guess. It's universally ear-grating though.
This warrented police to take action?
I would hate to be that cop. All I would be thinking is: "**** my life- this is what I went to the police academy for?"
