1.) Way to go for saying it while your little sister was in the house. Clue to you Sherlock little kids eavesdrop. 2.) Try waiting till you've moved out or at least grown up enough to have sex. Bragging about it doesn't make you cool it makes you trashy.

There isn't an age, so why are people assuming the OP is in middle/high school? Logically, she could be home from college and just talking on her cell with a friend. She never said it was a landline either... Even if she is old enough and mature enough to lose her virginity it would still be pretty damn embarrassing to have her mother hear that. It's the cringe factor that makes this a FML. And to whoever said it's embarrassing to be a virgin after 20, I think it is more embarrassing to have sex as a teen just because you can. Just about anyone can have sex if they want it. People choose to wait for the person they love or until marriage for religious (or just personal preference) reasons.
