Today, while I was mowing my lawn, my neighbor walked over to me and started scolding be for waking up his teenage son. This would be understandable if it wasn't 1 in the afternoon, FML

If the neighbor had said something like, "hey, my son just worked the night shift last night/is sick and is having trouble sleeping at night/etc, could you possibly wait to mow your lawn for a few more hours?" this could have been a completely different story. OP still would have had the right to say no, but at least situation could have been a lot more understandable...
