Depending on your age, you just described an anime cliché or the start of a porno... Either way, it sounds contrived. Are you sure she didn't just use this "demonstration" as an excuse to experiment?

I read it as the roommate was the one teaching the OP, and while showing OP they got too enthusiastic and stole their first kiss
