Today, when talking to my friend I realized she makes better grades than I do. That wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't the one helping her do all the professor's assignments. FML.

Sound like you teach better than the professor does! Maybe once you help her through the questions she needs help with, the two of you can compare answers? Don't write the exact same thing (unless it's a "single correct answer" situation) but see if she's adding some info you might be overlooking.
