also I think the word 'love' is used very loosely these days... there isn't love at first sight... there is lust and passion but love comes from a mutual respect for each other and ur time together, lust slowly grows into love... sorry just my opinion :)

Which is his problems - You can't develop feelings other than "she seems cool" with a person, romantically, without them knowing about it and having a chance to develop those same feelings simultaneously. Otherwise it's a recipe for disaster because while one person is on their first date the other person is 3 years invested into a relationship - It doesn't work.

70, are you one of those people that seriously hates on someone that doesn't force themselves to be attracted to you, simply because you have an unhealthy obsession with someone who is clearly uninterested? I've been on the other end, and lemme tell you, it's ******* awkward. Granted I wouldn't toy with someone's emotions intentionally, but sometimes you're just unaware of their affections. It's easy to assume they just want to be friends, since they, you know, never actually ever say anything about it. Because that doesn't accomplish anything other than making you look like a wimp - The correct respond would have been [if this were 100% declared as a date] would be to say "Here we are on a date, I [presumably] paid for you to see, and bought you snacks and you don't have the common courtesy to deal with your lust for my best friend on your own time? I'm not going to sit here and play matchmaker, setup your own hookups. This of course is where you're supposed to walk [not storm] out of the movie - Or at the very least get up and find yourself a new seat of course. Or, if you're feeling daring you could [kindly] ask her to find a new seat so you can enjoy your movie in peace.
