Today, my wife and i took possession of our first house. The neighbors apparently had a problem with the previous owners and don't think we'll be any different. They keep taking things from our yard and hiding them in drainage ditches nearby. We basically can't live there. FML

Talk to them and find out the problem. If it gets really bad go to the cops.

While I agree that them stealing things from your yard is obnoxious and illegal, it hardly prevents you from living there. Just hook up a security system (or even just a camera in the window) and show the recording to the police the next time they steal something.

Today, in order to try and get over my slight fear of swans, I went down to the local park to feed them. One decided that I looked tastier than the bread I was throwing and chased me around the feeding area while everybody laughed. FML

Today, I discovered that my parents rooted through our house looking for junk to sell at a garage sale. They sold all of my books from my bookshelf. When I freaked, out my mom said 'well you never read them'. There was about $300 hidden between the pages of those books. They made $60. FML

Today, I was writing in a journal as part of my therapy. I jumped and hid it when my boyfriend startled me by coming in. He now swears I must be cheating, that I’m keeping secrets from him and I trust a stranger with my personal thoughts more than I trust him. That’s kinda the point of therapy. FML
