I didn't even know spaghetti bingo nights existed!?
Yep it's an event where you eat spaghetti and then play bingo. I walked in one session at the senior center mistaking it for my new dance class studio this summer. Stayed for about 20 minutes. Needless to say I was very confused.
They have them at the senior center here too. By the way nice story ^ had a good laugh
Wow ok I never even knew that was a thing. Why spaghetti though? Is this an American thing?
Because it's cheap, and you can feed 8 people for less than $2.
Look at the up side free catering
Well, obviously a win-win situation, OP Who wouldn't want a spaghetti bingo wedding filled with strangers??
Uhm... Who prioritizes bingo over a wedding? It's not like they didn't have advanced notice that you booked the venue, they should have made accommodations for the blue hairs.
I would talk to the Venue if the wedding is soon. If they wedding is a long time away try to find a different Venue.
Marriages end in divorce. Bingo and spaghetti are forever.
That's my thought too lol
Why not just combine the two events?
That could be pretty weird. "I now pronounce you-" "Bingo!"
That sucks
If you picked a venue that also hosts bingo, you probably need to rethink your whole life.
Just because it hosts a bunch night doesn't necessarily mean it isn't a nice venue. Maybe some bingo club wanted a really classy joint for spaghetti night. What are they gonna do? Not take someone's money because it isn't a good enough event? And in any case, not everyone can afford, or needs, big expensive venue. My wedding venue only cost me and my finance $600, and I'm thrilled because I'm going to get the garden venue of my dreams and I have more money left over for other things.
hosts a *bingo night. Ducking Swype.
Maybe OP doesn't have money to blow and the parents aren't going to pay for it like some do. Big, flashy, over the top weddings can start off a couple in debt, which isn't exactly the best start for a marriage. I wouldn't want an expensive affair for mine because I would rather put the money towards a home and paying off student loans.

Time to crash bingo night.
I'm curious about this venue. Is it really a good place for a wedding if they have things like spaghetti bingo night?
