Today, my teacher handed back our recently graded papers. Looking over it, I noticed she marked me down on something that was correct. I showed it to her, she replied by stating, "Oh you're right, but you didn't get marked down much for that" and then started talking to another student. FML.

The amount of marks you lost doesn't matter, it's still a different and better grade. She made a mistake, she needs fix it. Go back to her and tell her to change your grade, refuse to leave until she shows you it's changed in her grading system. If she doesn't fix it again, go above her and tell the higher authorities exactly what's happening. Teachers are supposed to want their students to be successful, but she's punishing your grades for her own mistake. She's not doing her job, and is not a very good teacher.

Make her change it or go above her head. This is wrong.

I'd stand next to her until she fixed it. Or called/walking to administration and raise Hell.
