Today, my sculpture, which is very important for my art grade, fell from my desk and broke to pieces. My art teacher suggested I soak the parts in water to make it easier to stick them back together. They dissolved. FML

Do you have time to remake it? If not your art teacher should understand. She was the one who suggested you soak them in water.

Dude, soak doesn't mean drop in a bucket of water. Unfired clays are just a form of mud; add water and you get mud soup. Soaking in this context means to wrap the pieces in wet newspaper or cloth. Should have paid more attention in class.

Never had that bad a thing happen in art class... but close. Just keep in mind, the talent is in you, and you can always make another one, usually better than the first!
