Today, my mom moved me to the damp basement so there's no chance I'll "sneak out & party with the opposite sex". She won't believe I'm introvert & wouldn't sneak out from 2+ floors for social anxiety events, & doesn't know I'm gay & could care less about the opposite sex. Hello drab basement. FML

damp basement? is.... is she trying to kill u? if it's damp mold could develop and you guessed it, get u sick and potentially kill you

Bring up the habitation issues- especially the moisture and mold that is exceedingly likely to be with it- I'm not sure if the specifics of that part. As for the rest, I'm guessing you at claustrophobic or scared of the dark? If so, look into things that will make you think the room is bigger or brighter. You could also try coming out to your mom, but having to do so because she's off kilter isn't fair, and could backfire dangerously.
